Plenty of 5* hotels around but for the price offered none can compare with location of Rhombus. Across the road (literally) from TKL, 5mins walk from ChunXi Road station, taxis parked outside just waiting for you to enter, adjacent to a food street with countless bars, restaurants, and street food. Also a rare hotel with an actual gym - weights up to 25kg (which is far better than most), multi use equipment, benches, and various cardio machines (not just 2 treadmills and a bike like most hotels). Suites are spacious and clean, requests are accommodated for, shower is lovely, walk in wardrobe, make up table and chair, variety of lights, his and her sinks, big bath, your own bar, 2x TVs… etc.

Suite with kitchen area, seating area, very comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Big selection at the breakfast buffet. The pool is open-air but with a rooftop which is good when it rains or the sun is too strong. Excellent location right in the city center, loads of restaurants nearby. The Chunxi Road and Tai Koo Li pedestrian shopping areas are right next to the hotel, as well as subway L1/L2 stations and IFS tour bus stations to the Panda Research Center and the Sanxingdui Museum. The friendly staff made great efforts to communicate in English

The hotel’s location is really great as it was very near to a lot of eateries and also, Chengdu’s shopping district. The rooms were immaculate and we were able to choose from an array of pillows (I.e. chrysanthemum, feather). However, was not able to try the different pillows as I only knew about it at the end of the stay. The service was great and would strong recommend his hotel to anyone visiting Chengdu.

Excellent location, Very close to the 'touristy places' of Tai Gu li and IFS if that's what you want to see. Room was massive and clean and was very quiet luckily. Many Chinese hotel walls are so thin and not soundproof but here I didn't hear a peep. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Staff were very friendly, many people said they didn't speak English but honestly it doesn't matter at all, they were all lovely to communicate with and check in was incredibly simple.

This hotel is a fantastic tourist location. Easy walk to the metro (which you can take to the airport out of the city with three trains). The bed is comfortable and the room looks great. Temperature was good to. Our room had a bath which looked out over the street and shopping district. Others had mentioned the lack of English spoken by hotel staff but we didn't have a problem. It's not conversational but enough to answer your simple questions and information about your stay

Absolutely everything. The staff were amazing. From the doormen to the reception and cleaners, and even the pool lifeguard. The friendliest people who love speaking English, making an effort to communicate with you, and making you feel comfortable and welcome. I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

1000/10 for customer service! From when we arrived with our young kids, they easily accommodated an early check in, were extremely helpful and kind. They provided extra kids robes/slippers/toothbrush/toiletries and the room was large and comfortable. But most of all when we lost some souvenirs in a Didi, they went above and beyond to get them back and are now in the process of organising to ship them to us. Overall an amazing stay!

The property was well located; next to Taikoo Li and 2 streets away from Chunxi Lu shopping street. Staff were very helpful with package delivery, restaurant and performance bookings. Special thanks to the concierge. The room (King Suite) was spacious and comfortable. I would happily stay in this hotel again if I visit Chengdu again.

I had a nice time staying at this hotel because of its excellent location, large and well-appointed rooms, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast. The cleaners are nice; they go above and above to make sure I have a comfortable stay.
